The central church, St.Giorgos, is situated in Agairia. Other interesting churches in the same area include St.Nicholas, The Church of the Transfiguration of Christ (Aliki), St.Giorgos (Kamari), and the small church of St. Ioannis Theologos, which was carved into a rock in Tripiti, a beach that you come across following the new road from Agairia to Drios. The monastery of St. Charalabos, which is on the way to Aneraja, is also worth a visit. It has recently been renovated, and the unique scenery of sweeping hills, deep gorges, and sinking clouds is simply breathtaking.
